While Bollywood won some battles, South movies frequently emerged victorious, showcasing their growing influence and pan-India appeal in the film industry.

1. Rowdy Rathore vs. KGF: Chapter 1

"Rowdy Rathore" and "KGF: Chapter 1", released in 2018, fought a fierce box office. While South Superstar Rana Daggubati had a strong performance in Rowdy Rathore, KGF rocked the whole world with Yash's star power.

In 2019, Prabhas' "Saaho" and John Abraham's "Satyamev Jayate" released almost the same time. Saho tried to win the hearts of the audience with a huge budget and global appeal, while Satyamev Jayate tried to make his place through action and social messages.

3. Rangasthalam vs. Kedarnath
